Sherry Carroll Brown, age 74, passed away from pancreatic cancer on Friday, March 31, 2023 at her residence in Greenwood, MS.

Sherry was a devout and longtime member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Greenwood. She was an accountant for many years in the community and could always be counted upon for a bright smile and a "Hey there darling" whenever you walked in her door. Sherry will be remembered for her unfailing willingness to help people in need, her kind spirit, and her deep love for Christ. She loved her family and community and her loss will be deeply felt.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Benford Armond and Tessie Carroll, brother, Gary Carroll, and her grandson, Stephen Aldridge. She is survived by her family, Cliff and Dana Brown Aldridge, Jeff and Sheri Brown, Chase Brown, Kaleigh Aldridge, Mckenzie Landon Sheppard, Taylor Brown Thach, Hannah Brown Jobe, Ragan Brown, and ten loving great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. The funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM in the church.  Father Andrew Nguyen will officiate the services. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Carroll County.

Pallbearers will be Jacob McKenzie, Gray Jobe, Taylor Thach, Jason Johnson, Chris Knoll, and Jojo Watson.
