Sue Nan Noles passed away at Greenwood Leflore Hospital Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
Sue will always be remembered by her family as a loving, sweet, caring mother and "Granny" who always thought of her family first and herself last.
Mrs. Noles was a native of Paducah, KY but lived many years in Greenwood. Sue was a former member of LeBonte Women's Club and a founding member of the O'Bera Garden Club. She also served as an officer of the Greenwood Garden Council. Before becoming ill she was an avid gardener and loved her rose garden.
Sue was predeceased by her husband of 54 years and the love of her life, Bob G. Noles and also her parents.
Mrs. Noles is survived by two daughters, Carmenann N. (Jim) Mattox of Greenwood, MS and Gwen Noles of Louisiana. Sue is also survived by her two beloved grandsons she loved so dearly, James FitzGibbons Mattox of Greenwood, MS and Robert Noles (Amy) Mattox of Hattiesburg, MS and four great grandsons; Trenton Maeleigh Mattox, Noah Noles Mattox, Axel Voss Mattox and Colter Carey Mattox.
Sue also leaves behind her constant and loving "puppy" Sir. The family would like to thank Dr. William B. Jones, Maria Kendall and Jessica Lloyd for their compassion and care.
Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS is in charge of arrangements. Viisitation will be held at Wilson and Knight on Saturday March 28, 2015 from 1:00Pm till 3:00Pm. A graveside memorial service will be held in Paducah, KY at a later date.
