Sylvia Renee Wells, 61, of Southaven, MS, died Friday, May 16, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. There will be a service at a later date.

Sylvia was born May 17, 1963, in Greenwood, MS, to Ollie Reese White and Janet Mae Winters. She was a member of Hillview Baptist Church. She worked for Greenwood Nursery and Badour Center in Senatobia, MS.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Nicole Wells of Southaven, MS; son, Corey James Wells of MS; sisters, Nancy Ann White Bradshaw of Forest, MS, Mary Ann Everette of Greenwood, MS, and Judy Hayes Stanton of Black Hawk, MS; brothers, Dean Lee Woodard of Greenwood, MS, and Shelby Fate Hayes of Greenwood, MS; and four grandchildren, Cameron Wells, Jacoby Wells, Kaliyah Wells, and Clayton White.
