Thomas Edward "Jink" Woods, 84, of Ocean Springs formerly of North Carrollton, MS, died Friday, October 28, 2016 at Ocean Springs Hospital. Services will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at North Carrollton Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Rev. Keith Ramage will officiate. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael, MS. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Woods was born October 3, 1932 in Carroll County to Willie Wesley Woods and Jimmie Ethel Trotter Woods. He was a member of Ocean Springs Baptist Church. He worked for Modern Metals in Gulfport where he was a supervisor before he retired. He was preceded in death by five sisters; Tressie Slocum, Connie Noland, Rachel McCluskey, Christine Christopher, and Pauline Noland; one brother, William D. "Bud" Woods and his parents.

Mr. Woods is survived by his wife, Imogene Love Woods of Ocean Springs, MS; daughter, Debbie Woods Bellman and husband Joey of Ocean Springs, MS; son, Thomas Alan Woods and wife Tammy of Ocean Springs, MS; sister, Vallie Woods Strachan and husband Hubert of North Carrollton, MS; sister in-law, Faye Love of Kilmichael, MS; four grandchildren, Kristen Bellman of Ocean Springs, MS, Brian Bellman of Ocean Springs, MS, Josie Woods of Ocean Springs, MS, and Ashley Woods of Gulfport, MS; two great-grandchildren, Ava Woods of Ocean Springs, MS and Shea Sigworth of Ocean Springs, MS. He is also survived by three nieces and seven nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ken Strachan, Jerry Noland, Frank Truitt, Bill Noland, Jimmy Lord and Larry Blaylock. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hays Nolan, Mike Overstreet, Danny Overstreet, and Larry Christopher.
