Tina Turner McClure, 54, of Coila, MS, died Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at her residence. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Shiloh Cemetery in Carroll County. Bro. Roy Bush and Bro. Pete Roncali will officiate services.
Mrs. McClure was a member of New Shiloh Baptist Church in Sidon, MS. She worked at Irvin Automotive and was the General Manager of McClure Concrete Finishing, LLC. She was a graduate of Pillow Academy and also attended Mississippi Delta Community College. Tina was a member of the 'APHA' American Paint Horse Association, 'AQHA' American Quarter Horse Association, Mid Delta Horse Association, Tri-lake Horse Association, and the Leflore County 4-H. She loved her horses, family, friends and dirt track racing.
Mrs. McClure is survived by her husband of 38 years, Joe Alton McClure, Jr. of Coila, MS; three daughters, Christina Whitfield and husband Roy of Coila, MS, Jodi McClure Hearn and husband Robert of Greenwood, MS, and Margaret McClure Nobles and husband Brandon of Coila, MS; parents, Margaret Rosamond Turner and D Wilson Turner, Jr. of Coila, MS; brother, Mark Wayne Turner and wife Julie Dubard Turner of Grenada, MS, and sister, Linda Turner Smith and husband Kevin of McCarley, MS. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Robertson, Hanna Farmer, Maggie Farmer, Kaitlyn Robertson, Dylan Nobles, Owen Lane Farmer, Tyler Nobles and Layla Elizabeth Nobles.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Michael Turner, Dalton Turner, and James Liddell, and her son-in-laws, Brandon Nobles, Robert Hearn, and Roy Whitfield. Honorary pallbearers will be her cousins, Ray Collins and Dickie Collins.
