Services for Walter Tate "Skeets" Elliott, Jr. will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 11:00 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Elliott, age 63, died on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on November 18, 1954 in Greenwood, MS, to Walter Tate and Fay Chambers Elliott, Sr. and resided in Carroll County all of his life. He was a graduate of Carroll Academy and Mississippi Delta Community College. Mr. Elliott was the store manager and salesman for Stribling Equipment since 1985. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, attended New Hope Baptist Church, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Marie Elliott of Coila, MS; two sons, Walter Tate "Trey" (Robbie) Elliott III of Coffeeville, MS, and Gregory Clay Nicholas of Nashville, TN; daughter, Tammy Marie (Albert) Coffey of Nashville, TN; mother, Fay Chambers (Jerry) Ables of Phenix City, AL; three sisters, Fay (Barry) Bishop of McAdams, MS, Melanie (Cliff) Bishop of Sallis, MS, and Pam Elliott of Greenwood, MS; ten grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Larry Edwards will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be B.J. Bishop, C.W. Bishop, Taylor Bishop, David Jones, Jr., Joey Jones, Blake Cook, Austin Cook. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Michael Boler, Jim Bryson, Gary Tingle, Allen Holmes, Shorty Jennings, Jason Greener, Scott Swanson, Jerry Swanson, J.B. Swanson, and Daniel Mallett. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church cemetery.
