Walter Hays Rimmer, Sr. 71 of Greenwood died Monday, December 23, 2013 at his residence. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Wilson & Knight Funeral.

Mr. Rimmer was the owner of Rimmer Tools in Greenwood and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents James Wales Rimmer and Lucille Rimmer, two brothers Ronald Kirby Rimmer and James Preston Rimmer and a sister Molly Rimmer Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Dianne Bouchillon Rimmer of Greenwood and two sons Walt Rimmer and his wife Hope of Brandon, MS and Marty Rimmer and his fiancé Elizabeth of Greenwood, MS. He is also survived by two brothers Harold Rimmer of Augusta , GA and Fred Rimmer of Dublin, GA, three grandchildren Sara Hays Rimmer and Matthew Rimmer of Brandon, MS and Natalie Greeson Rimmer of Greenwood, MS.

Honorary pallbearers will be Levi Smith, Andy Hunt, David Mccuan, and Bobby Smith.
