Services for Walter Carl Moses Sr will be held Saturday March 14, 2015 11:00 AM graveside in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Moses, age 80, died on Monday March 09, 2015 at his Residence of Cancer

He was born June 18, 1934 in Coila, MS to the late Louis and Capitola Keys Moses. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School, a charter member of the Optimist Club, past member of the Greenwood Exchange Club, a past member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity and vestry, and a member of Valley Hill United Methodist Church. He also was the mayor of Steven's BBQ Coffee Club, a huge fan of MSU athletics, and an avid tennis player. He enjoyed his later years following the activities of his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his Wife, Adah Abbott Moses of Greenwood, three Sons, Dr. Walter Carl Moses, Jr of Greenwood, Charles Abbott Moses of Brandon, and Dr. Louis Jefferson Moses of Carrollton; Sister, Jerelyn Schilling of Hollandale, Brother, Louis Rhesa Moses of Natchez, eight grandchildren, Morgan Moses Moore, Lauren Moses Arnold, Carling Moses Canterbury, Walter Moses III, Wilson Moses, Ashley Moses Geoghagen, Charles Moses Jr, and Abbott Moses, and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 14, 2015 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev Glenn Seefeld and Rev Brad Hodges will officiate the services. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Moses Jr, Walter Moses III, Wilson Moses, Abbott Moses, Sean Moore, Morgan Geoghagen, Justin Arnold, and Brett Canterbury
