Wayne Bedford Ashmore, 79, of Duncan, MS, formally of Greenwood, died Saturday, April 5, 2025 in Batesville. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April, 10, 2025 11:00 AM at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home, with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Roger Jones will officiate the services.

Wayne was born August 20, 1945 in Greenwood, to the late Garner Bedford Ashmore and Mary Jones Ashmore. He attended St. John's Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and loved to collect money.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Ashmore of Memphis, TN.

Pallbearers will be Tim Jones, Roger Jones, and Paul Rice.
