Services for Weda W. Pickett will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Greenwood, MS 38930

Mrs. Pickett, age 89, died on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo.

She was born on July 21, 1927 in Oxford, MS, to the late James and Irmie Scarbrough White. Mrs. Pickett was a member of the Greenwood Garden Club and the Bridge Club. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greenwood, where she was active in the Russel Sunday School Class and served as the Church Secretary for a number of years. She is preceded in death by her husband William A. Pickett and a son Bill "Billy" Pickett.

She is survived by a son, Jim (Jane) Pickett of Pontotoc, MS; Daughter, Lyn (Ken) Goss of Belmont, MS; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Greenwood. Rev. Brad Hodges and Rev. Glen Seefeld will officiate the services. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rob Pickett, Carl Goss, Grayson Pickett, Jonathon Hood, Reed Bostick, and Tra' Elliott.
