William Dan Clark, age 71, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026.

He was born on April 10, 1955, in Mississippi, to William Ted Clark and Shirley Ann Montgomery Clark. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Dan was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family. Throughout his career, he worked in safety oversight at nuclear power facilities. He had a love for antique cars, traveling, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. Above all, Dan was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a devoted member of Granger Community Church for over 25 years. His faith was an important part of his life, and he remained steadfast in his love for the Lord.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Clark of Vaiden, Mississippi; daughter, Kathleen Hart (Wil); granddaughter, Esther Hart; sister, Lesa Fletcher (Doug) of Vaiden, Mississippi; and nieces and nephews, Rachel Estey (Cameron), Justin McClain, and Bailey Fletcher.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Ted Clark, and his wife, Diana Clark.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, Mississippi, with Bro. Dustin Long officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Music will be provided by Doug Fletcher.

Burial will follow in Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Carrollton, Mississippi.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wil Hart, Justin McClain, Cameron Estey, Mark Clark, Erby Montgomery, and Mike Montgomery.
