Services for Willie Williams, Jr. will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 11:00 AM at Victorious Faith Ministries in Itta Bena, MS.

Willie, affectionately known as Brut or Skillet, age 55, died on Saturday, October 06, 2018 at Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, GA.

He was born on September 14, 1963 to Willie Williams, Sr. and Dora Freeman Williams in Leflore County and resided in Itta Bena all of his life. Mr. Williams was a graduate of Leflore County High School and attended Coahoma Community College, where he played football. He was a member of Victorious Faith Ministries in Itta Bena. He retired from Wilson and Knight Funeral Home and Williams and Lord Funeral Home after 15 years of faithful service. He had a love of sports and was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Williams, Sr. and a brother, Marvin Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Linda Williams of Itta Bena, MS; son, Quinton Williams of Itta Bena, MS; daughter, Amber Williams of Itta Bena, MS; mother, Dora Hosey of Itta Bena, MS; brother, Jerry (LaTanya) Williams of Jacksonville, AR; three sisters, Alice (William) Matthews of Itta Bena, MS, Gloria Williams of Itta Bena, MS, and Shanta Williams of Itta Bena, MS, 3 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Victorious Faith Ministries. Pastor Samuel Sago will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Jerry Williams, Ricky Cunningham, Reginald Freeman, Harry Moore, Tyrone Self, Roy Robinson, Steve Edwards, Rence Love, Kendrick Gaston, and Roosevelt Swinney. Interment will follow in Pitts Cemetery.
