Services for Robert Wade "Woody" Overley will be held Thursday March 26, 2015 11:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Overley, age 71 died on Saturday March 21, 2015 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

He was born on January 18, 1944 in Gueydan LA, LA to the late Ernest Lloyd and Mammie Scalan Overley. Mr. Overley was associated with S/W Electric LLC being an Electrical Contractor for 42 years in Greenwood. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He is preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Overley, and a sister Irene Overley Peeples.
He is survived by Wife, of 50 years, Shirley Alford Overley of Greenwood, MS, Daughter, Pam Overley (Dale) Tackett of Greenwood, MS, Son, Sammy (Debbie) Overley of Greenwood, MS, two Sisters, Lloyce Overley (James) Dykes of Greenwood, MS, and Flossie Overley(Bobby) Acy of Black Hawk, MS, two Brothers, Lloyd (Louise) Overley of Greenwood, MS, Kenny (Ann) Overley of Kerriville, TX, five Grandchildren, Ashlea Overley (Michael) Galey of Greenwood, MS, Wade Tackett of Grenada, MS, Brad (Lacy) Overley of Jonesboro, AR, Eric Overley of Germantown, TN, and Neal Mitchell of Brevard, NC, and two great grandchildren Lucas Alan Galey and Jane Arden Galey.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 25, 2015 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Father Gregory Plata OFM and Fr. Thanh Dinh Nguyen,CSsR. will officiate the services.
